Every piece of furniture we make is built to your dimensions, your timber, your finish. From dining tables and bed frames to joinery, shelving and storage, we work with you through the design, agree the wood, and build it in our London workshop. Nothing leaves our bench until it is right.

Materials and making
We work mainly in English and European oak, American walnut and ash, each selected for its grain, movement and character. Wherever possible the timber is sourced locally, air-dried in our own yard and milled to dimension on site. Our finishes are hard wax, oil and shellac - natural treatments that let the wood breathe and weather well over time.
Every joint is cut by hand or by machine, depending on what the piece demands. We use wedged tenons, drawbore pegging, dovetails and hand-cut housings - joinery that holds without glue or metal. A piece from this workshop can be taken apart, repaired and rebuilt.
