A Georgian terrace apartment, reworked with a bespoke bed, fitted wardrobe and crafted storage for a compact floor.Islington, London · 2022
Our approach
The bed was made to order in the workshop, its walnut frame and headboard drawn to the room's proportions, with drawers built into the base and a low shelf running behind the headboard. The wardrobe is full-height ash, with soft-close doors, hanging and folded storage sized to exactly what the owner owns. Wall-mounted shelving and a writing desk complete the scheme.
The result
A compact apartment made to feel precise and airy - joinery that disappears into the walls and one beautiful bed at the centre, all made for the room rather than bought for it.
