Our approach

We bookmatched the topboards so the figure flows continuously across the surface, then joined them on hand-sawn wedged tenons that need no metal. The legs taper from a wide collar to a fine foot, turned by hand on the lathe, and the whole piece is finished with hard wax and boiled linseed oil - nothing that seals the wood away from touch. Every table is cut to the dimensions you ask for, from a two-seat bistro to a long refectory.

The result

The Workshop Table is our signature commission: a piece built to be handed down, with the tree's character left visible - the knots, the grain, the quiet irregularities that make it impossible to mistake for machine work.
